FU XINYI is a classically trained musician whose artistic profile bridges piano performance, vocal studies, and music education. With a strong foundation in instrumental training and a growing dedication to vocal artistry, she represents a new generation of versatile musicians committed to both performance and pedagogy.

XINYI began her formal musical training at an early age and completed her piano studies at the Shenyang Conservatory of Music, specializing in piano performance. With over 18 years of dedicated training, she developed a solid technical command, refined musical interpretation, and a deep understanding of classical repertoire. Her performance experience includes solo piano concerts in 2017 and 2019, where she demonstrated confidence and expressive maturity on stage. In 2018, she gained international recognition by winning the Gold Medal at the Melbourne International Piano Competition. While piano remains central to her musical identity, these experiences inspired her to seek a more direct and expressive connection with music through vocal performance.

Currently, Xinyi is a Diploma Year 3 student majoring in Vocal Studies at the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA) in Singapore. Her transition to voice reflects a deliberate artistic choice shaped by her interest in text, emotional communication, and expressive depth. Drawing on her instrumental background, she brings strong musical awareness, refined phrasing, and interpretative sensitivity to her vocal work. Her progress has been recognized through multiple awards at NAFA, including an Honorable Mention in the 2023–2024 Vocal Competition, Third Prize in the 2024–2025 Vocal Competition, and First Prize in the 2025–2026 Vocal Competition.

Alongside her studies, Xinyi is actively engaged in music education. With more than three years of teaching experience, she currently serves as a Senior Instructor at Avocado Piano Studio Singapore. She is passionate about guiding students through technical challenges and fostering long-term musical growth, helping learners of all ages build confidence and artistry. Fluent in both Chinese and English, and based between China and Singapore, Fu Xinyi continues to develop a balanced artistic path as a pianist, vocalist, and dedicated educator.
